About us

Jadran hoteli provides accommodation and catering services in Rijeka, Kostrena and Kraljevica. The company’s headquarters is in Rijeka, Strossmayerova 1. Jadran hoteli owns and operates all city hotels on the east side of Rijeka, the only hotel in Kostrena, a resort Uvala Scott and Oštro Camping and Apartments in Kraljevica.

Although some of its catering establishments have been operating uninterruptedly for more than a hundred years (in June 2010 Hotel Continental celebrated its 122nd anniversary), 1 April 1963 is considered the date of foundation of the Company. That was the date when hotel enterprises Park, Jadran, Neboder and Continental and several smaller catering firms were merged into a new company, Jadran. Later on, a hotel company from Kraljevica with the same name also joined the Company in 1965. On 19 April 1994 Jadran hoteli became a joint-stock company.

The Company is not very well known by its name but its properties are, in particular city hotels, Continental, Jadran and Neboder. These hotels are of long tradition and widely recognized. Even many historical documents show that these hotels have played an important role in the city’s life. All three hotels have been among most popular meeting places for the inhabitants of the east side of Rijeka, where they spent their free time, having fun, dancing and talking
