About us

Jadran Hotels, a company registered in Rijeka, with headquarters in Strossmayerova Street No.1, provides accommodation and catering services on the locations of Rijeka, Kostrena and Kraljevica.

Although some of its catering establishments have been operating uninterruptedly for more than one hundred years (in June 2005 Continental Hotel celebrated its 117th anniversary), 1 April 1963 is considered the date of foundation of the Company when the hotel enterprises Park, Jadran, Neboder and Continental and several smaller catering firms were merged into the Jadran Hotel Enterprise. In 1965 Jadran Hotel from Kraljevica also joined the Company. On 19 April 1994 Jadran Hotels became a joint-stock company.

Jadran Hotels owns all city hotels on the east side of Rijeka, the only hotel in Kostrena, Uvala Scott Tourist Village in Kraljevica and Oštro Apartments.

The Company is not very widely known by its name, on the other hand its establishments are very famous abroad and as hotels of long tradition have always been very appreciated and distinguished and not only for their catering service. Historical documents show that its hotels, particularly Continental, Jadran and Neboder, played an important role in the city’s cultural life and mention them as the most popular meeting places for the inhabitants of the east side of Rijeka, where they spent their free time during the day and the night-time, having fun together, dancing and talking.
